Ecotourism

Black Mountain

The Serra Negra Ecological Park is located in the district of Serra Negra, in the municipality of Bezerros, in the state of Pernambuco. It is one of the most interesting attractions in the region, mainly because it is a Brazilian environmental conservation unit, part of the so-called Espinhaço Mosaic.

The Serra Negra Ecological Park covers an area of 3.24 hectares in the geoenvironmental unit of Planalto da Borborema. It has free access and offers activities such as guided trails and rappelling. The most impressive thing is certainly the images you can see from up there and all the vegetation and rock formations in the region.

Trail and Rappel on the Cascavel Bridge

The backlands are also the ideal place for adventure lovers. In the region, there are a variety of activities that are pure adrenaline. Examples include the tunnel trail and the almost 50-meter rappel on the Cascavel Bridge, which is about 20 km away from our hotel.

The adventure can begin with a trail along the Estrada de Ferro Central de Pernambuco, approximately two kilometers long. The trail passes through two tunnels and bridges, ending at the area that serves as the base for rappelling.
